When I first started to write, I used to hate it. I hated the fact my english teacher’s would assign papers to write every single week. Now that I am older, I hate writing a little less. I say this because I have improved on spelling, grammar, punctuation, and proofreading. I would not say I am an expert on it because that is definitely not true. I struggle every day on them. Even on my best areas, I still struggle on writing. If I had to choose what is my best area on writing, I would choose spelling. I love to spell. Sometimes, I will write a short story just to practice my spelling. Other times, I can’t spell anything I want to say. The older I get, the bigger my vocabulary gets. In times like this I do not know how to spell that word. I would have to pull up a dictionary just to find the spelling. Now I absolutely love proofreading. After writing this paper, I can bet you I reread this thing about five times if not more. The fact that this paper is typed will most likely increase the times I reread this paper because I find more mistakes when I type.
