Nathan Au Per.3 Due Date: 9/17/19 Introduction The main intention for this experiment was to answer the primary question, “ Are children ages 4-10 more inclined to sweets or money?” The procedure for this experiment was that we asked a total of 22 kids from ages 4-10, we split the age range into two(4-7 and 8-10) and tested 11 4-7 year olds and 11 8-10 year olds and asked them if we were to offer them 3 dollars or 3 candies which one would they choose(can only choose 1). We did research to see which were the most popular candies in the United States and according to today.yougov.com, M&M’s, Snickers, and Kit-Kats are one of the most favored candies in america. So we used those three types of candies for our experiment. After collecting the data from all the 22 kids we had tested this experiment on, we then transferred our recordings on to google sheets to create a bar graph, pie chart, and data table. Lastly, we observed and analyzed our findings from this experiment, in order for us to understand if our hypothesis was accurate or not. The dependent variable for this experiment was the
