Talent crisis at Pricewine
Pricewine used to be a leading supplier of wine, but its production capacity is slowly
diminishing. The root cause of the decline in production could be associated with the sudden
loss of talent in the company. It is obvious that Pricewine’s CEO does not
understand talent
management and its implementation in an organisation. According to him, talent management
is only about recruiting people to work at Pricewine. The company currently has a high
employee turnover rate. Experienced employees are leaving the organisation in great numbers
and, as a result, the organisation has to train new employees all the time, requiring it to spend
a lot of money on training. The CEO has failed to appoint a human resource director for
Pricewine. He has always
believed that a human resource director’s position is not important
