Unlike a normal classroom course, CLA 131 is a computer-assisted course designed for students planning careers in the health services. This means that students are responsible for studying the material in the textbook on their own, and then taking the four online tests. There are no class meetings. COURSE OUTCOMES At the completion of the course the student should be able to: 1. Demonstrate an understanding of current medical terminology; 2. Demonstrate an understanding of the manner in which medical words are composed; 3. Demonstrate an understanding of the Latin and Greek roots of medical terms; 4.
