Bead Bar 2 I will be going over my recommendations for a network that will work for the Bead Bar company, this will include but not limited to the network topology to be used, the network architecture, and some of the major advantages’ and disadvantages. I will also be explaining the information technology that the Bead Bar company needs, and how I will implement their needs into a network that would best work for them. Some of the management at Bead Bar has voiced their concerns, and needs on what would work best for them. Now they are looking for something that could be wireless because of the tackiness of wires running everywhere. That and they have spent a lot of money on their studios they would like them to look nice. They were also wanted to better understand how the use of Bluetooth technology could benefit them. Their sales associate was curious to the idea of satellite communication to connect the corporate network while he is at sea. Currently the technology that they are using is Oracle 9i is an enterprise database with the ability to handle data distribution. Although a data warehouse and data mining might prove too costly at this time, the use of Oracle 9i will allow the Bead Bar to add these features in the future. (Malaga, 2005)Now a solid computer network could open up many doors for the Bead Bar such as expanding their business and franchises across the country. My recommendations would be the Tree topology because of strong network that it can provide. With the architecture they need to have something that is fast and reliable so I

Bead Bar 3 recommend Client-Server architecture, because of it being able to offer them a network that can be fast and reliable, and also capabilities to share data and printers and so on. Data sharing for businesses is very important, when I am thinking of a network recommendation that and think of what would benefit this is the most. They wanted to be able to access the corporate office from anywhere because of traveling a lot. So for, this I would recommend either a virtual private network or even a remote desktop connection of some sort. They also referred to wanting to be
