2 Imagine that you have applied for the position of Manager of Human Resources at an acute care hospital in your community. As a new candidate for the Human Resources Manager position that is currently available, I am excited about the opportunity to showcase my skill set, experience, education, and additional relative experiences for said position. I have noticed the acute care entailed within Inova health care organization in Leesburg, Virginia, and the structure, protocols, medical treatment, and additional key factors therein is nearly second to none based upon their current success rates. The hospital is planning to expand its services to meet the needs of a growing community . Inova Loudoun Hospital is under expansion construction which is estimated to be complete in 2020, and it is in an initial phase of a $300 million architectural facilities and services expansion plan that entails a seven-story, 385,000 square feet patient tower designed to elevate the human spirit. In doing so, the patient-focused expansion will include private patient-centered rooms, NICU, PCU, ICU, expanded Inova Heart and Vascular Institute Schaufield Family Heart Center, additional tertiary services, outpatient services, diagnostic imaging, café and hospital support, and shell space for potential future expansion. As part of the application screening process, you have been asked to write a document that outlines the steps you would take, as the manager of HR, to improve the effectiveness of HRM in this organization. As the manager of Human Resources, it is ideally imperative that each applicant accurately matches the job description within their resume, portfolio, and reference submission prior to being invited to interview.
