Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to: Describe fundamental ethical obligations of the professional engineer. Describe registration requirements and the importance of registration for professional engineering practice. Describe basic components of the United States legal system. Describe basic, legal, management, and business principles applicable to the practice of engineering and construction. Describe the elements of successful multidisciplinary teams. Describe contemporary issues such as sustainability, green engineering, and the impact of emerging technologies on engineering practice.
