Artifact What is your chosen artifact ? Include a link to or a picture of the artifact. "Still I Rise" by Maya Angelou I. Describe the artifact in detail. For instance, how would you describe it to someone who could not see it? “Still I Rise” by Maya Angelou is a poem about her struggles with prejudice and injustice. It was written in 1978 to be a part of of 32 poems collection, The way she expresses herself in so many ways. This poem is a declaration of her determination to success. This poem was a beacon of hope for others oppressed. With the sassines of this poem you understand and feel the tone. Because this poem was written about prejudice and oppression you can feel and see how through it all Maya will rise above it all. II. Choose elements of the artifact that you believe are most important to how you experience it and explain why. For instance, what particularly catches your senses or makes you want to keep experiencing it? Does the choice of medium impact your experience? You can experience "Still I Rise" in different ways. One way is by reading the poem were you can interpret in your own way by the way you interpret her tone with her words. You can also experience this poem by watching a video and listening to her in her own words and tone.
