Melissa Owen Bio 182 Arizona State University Modeling Carbon Emissions I was not sure where to start so I figured well the United States is big to if I change the data there then I can expect a big change. I first altered the Emissions peak year and Reduction begin year to 2020 and the Annual Reduction rate to 6%. This made the temperature increase by 2100 move to +4.0 degrees Celsius. Not much changed so I thought well if nothing changed in the developed country area then move on to the developing to see what kind of result, I would get. I changed China’s emissions peak year and reduction begin year to 2020 and annual reduction rate to 5% and the temperature increase by 2100 when all the way down to +3.4 degrees Celsius. I changed other developing countries emissions peak year and reduction begin year to 2020, and annual reduction rate to 4% and the temperature increase by 2100 dropped to +2.6 degrees Celsius. There was more of a change when altering the developing countries rather then developed. That was quite a large change. To verify my observation, I went back up to the EU and changed the emissions peak year and reduction begin year to 2020 as well, and the annual reduction rate to 5% and the temperature increase only went down to +2.4 degrees

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
