Bicycle Thieves
I usually am not a big fan of foreign movies, mainly because I don’t like reading subtitles
while I watch movies. I feel doing this takes away from a movie as it forces me to stare at the
bottom half of the screen the whole time. However, I did enjoy this movie and found myself
rooting for him to find his bike, and even to get away when he was stealing the bike at the end. I
had not heard of this film before and read the brief description of it before I watched it. I
expected him to get his bike stolen during the first scene when he leaves it and goes upstairs to
follow his wife.
One aspect I found to be quite interesting was from the little boy, Bruno’s prospective.
