Fermentation homework and Fermentation is an alternative way of oxidizing sugars to make ATP. It is a shortcut, or a "quick and dirty" way to make ATP because fermentation does not involve (name the processes), therefore, it does not require - (name the molecule) as a "final electron acceptor". Fermentation produces _ (more or less?) ATP than respiration. Fermentation is basically the conversion of sugar into (name the items), or some combination of the two. Wo Or Fermentation has 2 major steps/stage, the first step is and the second step is the conversion of pyruvate into acid(s) and/or alcohol. The ATP is produced only in the (1st or 2nd?) step. The second step regenerates which is used in the 1st step (hint: it picks up hydrogen atoms from the oxidized glucose). In the second step, Pyruvate is (name the chemical change the happens to pyruvate) as it picks up H atoms from . As a result, pyruvate is converted into acid(s) and/or alcohol. In fermentation (give the type of fermentation), glucose is converted into _and fermentation, glucose is converted into

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
