Happened as international interaction started becoming more popular ii. “The sun never sets on the British Empire” 1. 5 keys: English channel, Suez Canal, Cape of Good Hope, etc. c. 9/11 – a transforming event? i. Certainly was for US – not for war necessarily d. Anarchy vs. Chaos i. World is anarchy ii. Long time ago, many people depended on Pope to make big decisions e. States and nations i.
