The plan included extravagant buildings with many geometric angles and an image entirely different than the rest of Beirut. The plan would have been enthusiastically approved by Le Corbusier especially because of the creation of districts separating buildings by function. He was also have appreciated the geometric shapes and embracing of modernity that the plan entailed. Later, the plan was modified because it was found that the creating of districts created an uneven flow of people. The business district would be busy only during business hours, and during business hours the entertainment district was low, but by combing districts and functions the flows are evened and there is a constant flow of people throughout the city.
