Math 220 Exam 1A This exam is being given under the guidelines of the UMD Honor Code. You are expected to respect those guidelines and to report those who do not. Number each of your answer sheets and write your name and UID on each sheet . Include your section number and your TA’s name on each sheet . On the first answer sheet, write the honor code. At the end of the exam, sign it. No talking, notes, calculators or any other aid outside your own head is permitted during the exam. If you believe a question needs to be clarified, raise your hand. Answer each question on a separate answer sheet. If you run out of room, continue on the back of the page. Circle your answers and show your work unless otherwise specified. Crossed-out work will not be considered. You may not use any technique to take a derivative that has not yet been covered in this class. In particular, you may not use the product or quotient rules.
