May 2, 1935 I remember the days of having to know what I’ll eat, when I play with my friends, coming to a home, sleeping on a bed. The days of happiness and freedom. I remember my father telling me, “Every day is a new day, which mean new opportunities but only you can control your path and no one else.” and I lived believing those words, too believing that it’s merely a fantasy, a dream that will never come true. I was only 16 years old, going to school like any other kid would, able to be in store, to have a home, to hang out with friends but then ,”Mein Kampf” by Hitler came out describing a dream he's pursing that seem to unreal to happen that they criticized him and I’m not going to lie, I was one of those people. Then the day came when Hitler came into power. My life switched and I lost my friends, my home, my synagogue, everything. Then they told us to pack a bag for They were going to take us to a “better place” and they rounded us up an put us in carts like cattle, for we were squished in that there was no space for you to do but stand and if you needed the bathroom, then you would use it right where you were at. Then the cart stopped but seeing the light wasn’t the only thing I saw as there is a fenced off area with little to no buildings but what caught my attention is the skeleton like men, women, and children.
