1. Do you receive junk mail with different versions of your name? How do you think this happens? 2. When you shop online, do you receive suggestions for products similar or related to products you are searching for? Where do these suggestions come from? 3. When using the web, have you noticed web sites that present you with web pages or search results tailored to your interests? How were these created? I do receive junk mail but they all mainly use my name. All of my junk mail goes to the junk folder in my mail app for the most part, so I hardly ever pay attention to it. I believe this happens because when you put your information in on a website, it automatically gets saved and companies can sell your information. Most junk mail is trying to persuade you to buy a certain product or purchase a subscription.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
