May 21, 2019 Dear Ms. Leung: I have never even had you as a teacher, but I came to realize how great of a person, as well as a teacher, you are. Many people and teachers tell me that you are a great teacher, and you have inspired and interested them in the field of Statistics. Every time I saw you around the campus or the classrooms, you have always said “hi” with a little smirk of thinking, ‘who is this girl that keeps saying hi to me?’ You probably thought I was crazy or something :) I just wanted to say thank you for the past years that I have known you and made me laugh. I hope you will have the best years to come, doing what you love: teaching Stats. I will come visit sometime and say hi, since I am going to University of Southern California and will be very nearby. With appreciation and love, Grace Kim Commissioner of Academics 2018-2019 May 21, 2019

Dear Mr. Mills: Sophomore year, I was in your Math II+ class, and have known you since. In that class, I have learned and grown exponentially, in terms of mathematics and work habits. Everytime I passed by your class or walked by you on campus, you always acknowledged and said “hi” to me. This year, I have worked alongside you to publicize Yosemite meetings and CSF. Through it all, you have been very considerate and kind, for which I am extremely grateful for. I am graduating this year to attend University of Southern California in the fall, and I want to say a big thank you for all you have done and have been throughout my four years at SPHS. It has been a honor being your student and even more of a privilege knowing such a great person. With appreciation and love, Grace Kim Commissioner of Academics 2018-2019 May 21, 2019 Dear Ms. Yang:

I took your Biology class my freshman year, and time has passed so quickly since. It has been four years already, and next fall, I will be attending University of Southern California. I just want to say thank you for teaching me about Biology; though the class was tough, through it, I grew immensely, in terms of the subject and work habits. It has been an honor being your student and knowing you for my four years at SPHS. With appreciation and love, Grace Kim Commissioner of Academics 2018-2019 May 21, 2019 Dear Ms. Shen: My four years here at SPHS has come to an end and the time has passed so quickly. I will be attending USC in the fall, and before I leave, I wanted to say a big thank you.

Not only were you an amazing teacher for my Math 1+ class, I came to realize how great of a person you are. Thank you for making me laugh, and above all, being so kind and caring for all your students. You inspire me, among many other students, to work hard and learn. Since I will be so close by, I will come visit! Until then, thank you for what you have done and who have been to me for the last four years. It has truly been an honor being your student and more so a privilege knowing such a great person.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
