Communication Ethics 2 An administrator must always conform to the three ways when making decisions in which ethics’ rules and concept can be appreciated. These three considerations prior to making decisions include; being considerate of the well-being of the majority, defending the rights of all individuals in the organization, and always adhering to the principles of fairness, equity, and objectivity ( Florian, 2008, 363). These sentiments also apply when communicating with patients. This paper thus seeks to look at scenarios involving communication ethics and how they affect the patient and the family. “You have been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and there is not much I can do about it. We do not have an effective treatment in your case!” This is such an inconsiderate attitude from the health practitioner. Such a message will deal a devastating blow to both the patient and family.
