May 20 th , 2018 Empathize and Design Describing Empathize and Define Steps At first, the activity is demonstrating a communication issue that the community countenances. Furthermore, it will center around how to make a superior or better design journal, gather pieces of feedback from individuals who confront the issue and define the issue. As per College for America, design thinking is a technique for critical thinking and problem solving that rouses individuals to find new decisions and produce another possibilities or choices that did not exist (College for America, 2014). The procedure has five stages specifically including: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. In my own knowledge and understanding, to empathize is to grasp, realize or feel like another person feels, while to define is to clarify something. It can be the word, an issue or an issue in the group or an issue that an individual can confront. Moreover, the tools that will give important data are watching or observing and engaging with the end users. The reason why I say this is because when the end users are involved, they are interviewed and recognize the communication issue they commonly face. Besides that, seeing the way they communicate
