Pg.96-99 Group is two or more people that interact with each other on social structure and acknowledge their mutual dependency. The biggest difference between primary and secondary groups are that primary groups are more intimate face to face interactions while secondary are larger groups that are formal. Primary groups are more of your family, friends, and people you love while secondary are your coworkers. Pg.100-101 1. Size usually determines if a group is primary(Small) or secondary(Large). 2. Physical proximity is the factor that you are likely to make friends with someone thats close to you rather then far away. 3. Communication patterns can either hurt or help the group. there are three types of communication all channel communication is when every single person in the group can interact the same as everyone else, while the wheel is traditional to classroom settings. 4. Cohesion is when a group is characterized by the high levels of interaction and their strong feelings of attachment.
