Surname 1 Student’s Name: Tutor’s Name: Course: Date Due: Epistemological Evidentialism and Euthyphro Dilemma Epistemological Evidentialism According to Hume, it is reasonable for people to proportion their beliefs depending on the evidence upon which they hold the beliefs. Sometimes, the evidence that people hold is that two separate events could have constantly been conjoined with no single exception. This includes examples of events such as eating bread and getting nourished. Hume, in this case, shares the thought that reasonable people will be highly assured of being nourished by the bread they will eat. Hume argues that evidence for some of the beliefs that people have about events mostly include general beliefs regarding relationships that exist between kinds of events. Evidence for beliefs based on past events becomes the basis of our general beliefs. Hume notes that although there exists some invariable conjoining of some events with others, other types of event combinations are variable (Frederick, 21).
