PATHOPHYSIOLOGY - COURSE POLICIES 2nd year 4-year program - Academic year 2019/2020 Pathophysiology is a part of Pathology course along with Pathomorphology. PATHOLOGY course is run by Department of Pathophysiology and Department of Pathomorphology. The courses are conducted separately, however the final exam and the grade of Pathology is one. The grade of Pathology is based on the results from the NBME only, but other forms of knowledge checking during the course are needed to receive credit and take the Final exam (NBME) (i.e. mid-term tests, remedial work). A. Attendance Class attendance is regarded as an obligation as well as a privilege, and students are expected to attend regularly and punctually at classes. Four (4) excused absences are admissible in seminars. Student who is 15 minutes late (or more) for classes is not admitted to seminar. Exceeding four absences at seminars results in a lack of credit. In this case, Student has possibility to take the additional remedial assignment to take the Final exam of Pathology. Absences at more than 50% of all classes lead to a failure in the course and Student is not allowed to take the Final exam of Pathology. In this case Student has possibility to take the additional remedial assignment (May/ June 2020) to retake the exam (June/ July 2020). B. Course requirements Assignments: Student should have a theoretical basic knowledge of the current subject (based on the lectures and obligatory textbooks) prior to the class. Read the chapters in your text prior to class, please REVIEW normal physiology.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
