Briefly (1-2 paragraphs) describe what happens prior to this passage. (Focus on Exodus 1-11.) After Joseph’s try to get his family into Egypt, Israelites also came with them and prospered at the land of Egypt. However, Pharaoh which was during Joseph era died and came a new ruler who did not like current situation about Israelites and pushed them into hard labor. Also, he gave out an order to kill every firstborn Hebrew. Jochebed mother of Moses hid Moses in the basket and put on the Nile River to save him from Pharaoh’s order. Therefore, Pharaoh’s daughter found him and took him as a child. Then, when he grew up he realized who he was and what happened to him and to his natives. One day, God came to Moses with the sign of burning bush and told him to rescue and lead Israelites out of Egypt. And he went to do in the way that lord commanded to him. He went there with his brother Aaron.
