Responsibility: Pharmacy staff is responsible for removing expired drugs and sundries from pharmacy stores and pharmacies, and accepting expired items from wards, health centres for disposal/returns as per SOP. A staff pharmacist is responsible for the review of the documents of expired medication and supplies. The Executive Director of St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor is responsible for the authorization of destruction or return of expired medication and supplies.
