MOVIE REVIEW 2 Human Flow is a documentary film that focuses on the current global refugee crisis. The film's co-producer and director Ai Weiwei says he was inspired to shoot the movie after taking a holiday in Lesbos, Greek, and seeing scores of refugees fleeing to the shores[ CITATION AiW17 \l 1033 ]. He took footage using his iPhone, and this experience inspired him to take their stories as well as their harrowing journeys. In this film, the director showcases the lives of refugees in an attempt to comprehend the conditions of humanity in the times we are living. The film talks about how more than 65 million people all over the world have been forced to leave their homes due to factors such as war, famine, and climate change. The view is taken on a journey in over 20 countries to demonstrate the staggering scale of the crisis and its overwhelmingly personal human impact. The film tells touching stories from refugees across the world from different countries such as Kenya, Iraq, Greece, Afghanistan, Israel, France, Bangladesh, Turkey, Mexico, and Germany[ CITATION AiW17 \l 1033 ]. It captures the desperate attempt of refugees to secure shelter, safe havens, and justice. It demonstrates the lengths they will go to achieve this. They flood refugee camps in the tens of thousands, cross perilous oceans without caring about the danger involved, struggle to cross barbed-wired
