Assignment 8 Behavioral Economics: Economics 4374 due October 22, 2019 in class 1 Read Kahneman’s Thinking Fast and Slow Chapters 10-13 2 Design an experiment to do in class (or with a simple online survey) Choose one bias or phenomenon: Anchoring Bias Availability Bias Hot-hand Fallacy Gambler’s Fallacy Another cognitive bias of your choosing - If you are going to use something other than one of the ones listed, email me first to make sure it is okay. I will get back to you quickly, and I will almost definitely say yes. Come up with a test of this bias or fallacy that could be done in a class of 42 students. Be creative! Feel free to look for examples/ideas/inspiration from the internet. Cite sources if/when necessary. We will try to use at least a few of the examples suggested. If you do not want yours to be used, it will not be used. No problem.
