LEX102: Science, Sustainability and the Law Name: Louise McKimm ID: 44558139 LEX 102 ESSAY PLAN Question – What is climate change and what are some examples of how it affects individuals/animals and the environment, particularly in the future with reference to other cases? Introduction – Overview: Environmental impacts as a result of climate change has affected society globally at a large scale. This can be attributed to a variety of factors which are analysed by various scholars and peer-reviewed articles that provide information and statistics relating to this problematic circumstance. Examples of these tribulations include the warming of the oceans and atmosphere, with specific reference to coral bleaching and the Great Barrier Reef 1 . Climate change also affects everyone differently, with this being evidently worse in poorer/developing countries 2 . Furthermore, other scholars have researched and discussed that climate change requires various adaptations to modern conservation techniques 3 for protection and restoration to be potentially regained. Paragraph 1 – Topic sentence: Climate change is an accumulative problem that continues to impact upon the environment and those living within it, resulting in various negative consequences.
