1. Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of equity market mechanics and quotation conventions. 2. Evaluate financial assets using the CAPM and other asset pricing models, whilst critically assessing their assumptions and limitations. 3. Critically examine market efficiency and anomalies, behaviourial finance and technical analysis. 4. Demonstrate an ability to explain the differences between, and the rationales for, active and passive portfolio management. 5. Demonstrate the ability to optimally allocate wealth between assets, taking into account the investor’s risk aversion. Module Learning Outcomes
