Every culture has the 4th and 5th octave --> the math and physics behind this --> ratios Pythagoras discovered the perfect ratios --> became a scale --> math - fractions were involved Harmony of Spheres Theory --> Pythagoras proposed that the Sun, Mon and planets all emit their own unique hum based on their orbital revolution - Music and math were basically the same thing long time ago --> talked about ratios --> pleasant ratios - How do we make sense of the world --> understand the world through music --> how human experience and how nature works --> thought they discovered the key to how th world worked - Planets and shit - Early music --> took into consideration of the planets Math develops --> music develops Music got more complex as math got more complex - Certain intervals were banned --> thought they would affect the alignment of the planet, etc Music does not need to line up with the spheres anymore --> before they did - Cymatic Sound is vibrating in a medium -
