Undergraduates & Their Preferences Towards Dormitory and Home Research Question: Whether freshmen want to live in student dorms or at homes? Review of the literature It goes without saying that nowadays, accommodation plays a significant role in daily life for undergraduates. Some prefer to live in student dorm than home whereas others are in contrast. So choosing a place to study and live during the time we go to colleges is still a controversial topic in our society. In this research, we focus mainly on freshmen’s decisions if they want to live in the student dorm or at their own homes. According to the poll of IU freshmen on which they would choose, a wide range of them opts for staying at home. Most of them see eye to eye to some extent with the statement that there is a little bit more convenient to live in the dorm. But, be that as it may, they cite out that infrastructures are not really in a good condition and their expenditures
