Surname 2 The story the bride comes to yellow sky by Stephen crane flexes with constant tension and at the end causing disappointments that where the reader expects something to happen but nothing happens. In The bride comes to yellow sky crane describes Jack Potter and his wife as they go west, just like a thousand of others in the period. Jack Potter and his wife had just married that morning and they chose to settle in the yellow sky, Texas. The yellow sky is known to be home a raving drunk who has bickered with the groom for many years. The climax comes when the married pair finds them head to head with scratchy, who wants to fight with the groom. The story of the bride comes to yellow sky lacks the narrative density. It instead deflates some persuasive allegory of the American West, with wonderfully droll impact. In the general stern classify of Stephen’s work, the story gives a refreshing change of stride. Borrowing from most Western stories, the protagonist in the story lacks identifiable human traits. Some tend to be a robot like who stand for largely meaningless theorems of good and evil. The interest of the story lies in and everything leads up to the climactic showdown.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
