It will improve repeatability in terms of spin rate and spin axis. Could have settings for different spin axis and spin rates as well as different pitches. For example, you set it to a Chris Sale slider and it will throw you one with a reasonably similar spin rate and speed as Chris Sale. Then you make it so a ball comes out every 12 seconds and you load up 20 balls into it. Type of project (circle one): Analytical Design Experimental Levels of success for the Design Expo: Level 1 (the minimum that we expect to have working): Make a mechanism that dramatically improves repeatable spin rates and speeds from current pitching machines. Making a place that you feed balls into and the orientation comes out the same and you have the ability to choose the speed with certain spin rates
