In a classroom or any learning environment, vocabulary development is important in several different ways. After reading a good book or a textbook repeatedly, you will understand that reading is an important factor in the classroom. There are students who have trouble reading, these children will need a little more support because they have trouble listening and understanding. This is one of the few reasons that a teacher must go over a lesson multiple times for those students to understand. This is also an important step for the ELL students when they are in a new environment. Another important thing that can help ELL students is vocabulary reading, which supports their speech and their pronunciations. I would try to help with the words and phrases that a student can’t pronounce and provide them the assistance they need to learn. When there are vocabulary words that go along with a reading, ELL students will start to understand what they are reading and will start to comprehend more words.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
