[SHORTENED TITLE UP TO 50 CHARACTERS] 2 Abstract Today is an era of internet, mobility, adventure, and all these exciting things. Businesses are at a predicament to try to ride with the waves of consumers’s change in lifestyle. Our company, Alternative Hippie Gear, Inc. (AHG) is one of the businesses trying to get ahead of the game. Our goals are to achieve better profitability, increase market share and customer satisfaction, as well as to improve overall production quality. However, some of these goals might not coincide with one another as increase in production might compromise product quality. Merging with businesses that offer a different flavor to our mix of products, or investment in like-minded endeavors may be a way to increase profitability. Thermo Fisher Scientific and Danaher Corporation are known for creating high-quality products related to science. A choice between these two companies may bring rise to a better and bolder line of products for AHG. Alternative Hippie Gear (AHG) Inc.: Decisions to Increase Profitability Our company, Alternative Hippie Gear Inc. (AHG), is a company that manufactures and sells equipment for travel, backpacking, festivals, and appeals to the “digital nomad” market. We seek to increase profitability, market share and overall quality. As with all other companies of the same industry, we might not be able to propel the market, organically. One of the decisions to achieve those set of goals is to partner up with another company that might spice up the things that we offer. Two companies seem to match up with what AHG is looking for – Thermo Fisher Scientific and Danaher Corporation. Let’s look at their numbers: DHR Danaher Corporation (DHR), according to their website, is a global science and technology innovator committed to helping customers solve complex challenges and improving quality of line around the world.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
