6.0 ACTION TO BE TAKEN 6.1 AIR QUALITY Picture 2: The type of ventilation in each residential college room The ventilation system in the building provide fresh air to breathe by maintaining the indoor air quality by converting used air to clean air from outside. The types of ventilation for each room at Pagoh Residential College are through ventilated windows and winds. Therefore, each room can only use natural ventilation to get fresh outdoor air. Pagoh Residential College use mechanical ventilation fans (exhaust fans) and windshields for bathroom ventilation. However, each floor and room position have different ventilation. The above-ground ventilation is better than ventilation beneath. Due to the lack of evidence of potential pollutants that can cause chronic health problems, sensitivities or discomfort in samples collected and analyzed, no further action is recommended on the internal air quality of Pagoh Residential College. Through the questionnaires conducted, there were a handful of students who stated that the condition of their hot room showed that their ventilation was insufficient. Therefore, the ventilation system at Pagoh Residential College still require improvement as each level and room require different ventilation systems. Therefore, to ensure a good ventilation is to provide more mechanical ventilation systems for each room neither bathroom. the mechanical ventilation system is an indoor air exchange process using the aid of machinery.
