Introduction:Kay and Associates, mission-related to corrosion prevention and mitigation, are to implement a nationwide program to standardize and significantly improve strategies, objectives, and processes to prevent, detect and treat corrosion and its effects on military equipment and infrastructure.The corrosion control training program at Kay and Associates is standardized throughout the nation at all Kay and Associates facilities. There are several training methods used at Kay and Associates, and they are on-the-job training, off-the-job training, and the use of technology. The training program teaches employees in the technics of how to discover, treat, and prevent corrosion.
Off-the-job training methods•Classroom Lectures- Classroom method or lecture method•Audio-Visual- Providing training by way of using Films, Televisions, Video, and Presentations•Simulation- Trainee will be trained on the especially designed equipment or machine•Vestibule Training- Used to train technical staff, office staff and employees who deal with tools and machines•Case Studies- Written description of an actual situation in the past in same organization•Role Playing- The trainees assume roles and act out situations connected to the learning concepts•Programmed Instructions- This involves two essential elements: (a) a step-by-step series
