The Influence of Biodiversity- Keeping Our Planet Going
Biodiversity is a very interesting and valuable topic. It’s a necessity to keep our world
and environment going. According the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the definition of
biodiversity is “biological diversity in an environment as indicated by numbers of different
species of plants and animals”. In other words, biodiversity is a necessity and we want to
conserve what is on our planet. Biodiversity helps with the ecosystem, the climate, and
organisms, etc. it’s for our present time, and our future.
Biodiversity does have a lot of value. It is not only our lives, but our planets, and all the
living organisms that keep our world going. Biodiversity isn’t something we can just fix and
forget about because it’s an ongoing cycle. If one type of animal goes extinct, it will affect what
is going on in the environment, it affects the lives of other organisms that depend on the rare
species that’s going extinct. Biodiversity is necessary for our evolution due to the process of
