Introduction to Business Chapter 1 Objectives of Business Survival- the business wants to stay around Growth- you want to be able to branch out Social Responsibility- now a requirement in sea of a luxury. for example a beauty  product that tests on animals wont sell as much as the others who don’t.  Creating Wealth:  Factors of Production Land Labor (workers) Capital Entrepreneurship Knowledge Business  Environment  Overview  (pie  chart) Continuously change and have a chain reaction. Never stay the same. Technological Environment Productivity – how much you can make out of a give amount of resources.  Judges economy E-commerce-Easy to do, don’t see people Responsiveness to Customer – when buying something on line you get a  conformation email immediately after it is sent. Makes the consumer feel more  secure about buy online.
