In the play, The Crucible by Arthur Miller, there are many evil characters. A character that one person might feel is evil another person might feel is not evil and in fact, is good by nature. One person might feel Judge Hawthorne is good but another person might think he is evil. He could be evil due to his act of not stopping the wrongful trial. Some feel the most evil people are bystanders who could help the cause but choose to do nothing. Another character some people may disagree about it Giles Corey. One may feel he is innocent, but another may feel he is evil. He did bring many people to court. He brought so many people to court that Judge Danforth thought he had a lawyer write up his deposition (Act 3). Abigal Willams is the most evil character in the play
