He showed examples of all the themes of hubris, but the one he showed the most was having too much self-confidence that he can not die. The first example of when Odyssey showed that he had to much pride in himself is when he was on the open sea going to Phaeacians. This is when he survives the storm that Posideon brings on, and Odyssey starts taunting him. When he does this, Poseidon gets even madder and breaks his ship in half. This is an example of Hubris because Odyssey had way too much self-confidence in himself and in thinking that he will not de. This made him suffer because then Posideon broke his ship in half, making it so that he had to dive in the water. After he was thrown, it took him a lot of effort to come back up because of the clothes Calypso gave him. But,
