Kennedy and Nikita Khrushchev from the Soviet Union. Based on the documentary, President Kennedy makes allegations that there are secret missiles bases of the Soviet Union on the island of Cuba. What followed was that the world entered into a crisis that could cause nuclear disaster and this arose fear in all countries(Craig, 2012). The three powerful men were responsible for the fate of the world. The film has helped to explain the association between the USA and Russia whereby events beyond their control endangered the occurrence of a nuclear holocaust that could have terminated human civilization. The association between the US and Russia is one of the key mutual having implications that exceed the two states themselves. The two countries have shared interests in various things such as nonproliferation, counterterrorism, violent extremism, nuclear power and regional security in Eurasia and Europe(Trenin, 2014).
