Even the guide developed by PMI called "Talent Triangle", gives out important skill sets of project management which not only includes hard skills but also soft skills. Soft skills such as "Motivation" guarantees the project progresses at a fast pace with a highly motivated group of team members working towards a common goal. While it is true that teaching and measuring softskills is laborious task, but they can be learnt and developed with ease it does require discipline and self-evaluation. A project management team who only possesses hard skills alone will not likely succeed since every member works towards their own goal and achievement, don't effectively communicate and end up having conflicting views.
