To: ENGL 210 Students From: Peter England Date: December 6, 2007 Subject: Final Exam Instructions and Questions Introduction: Below is a scenario followed by a list of five questions. For the final I will pick three for you to answer. We will address those three questions during your scheduled final exam time. When you have finished answering the questions, print your memo on the classroom printer. Be sure to save an electronic copy on either a USB drive or your email account. Do not email me a copy unless I personally direct you to do so. I encourage you to generate rough drafts, outlines, etc., while studying. However, I want your answers written during class time; therefore, do not bring pre-written answers, notes, or an outline. During the final exam time, some of you may prefer to hand write your initial draft. That’s fine with me. Purpose: This final exam is not intended to be difficult, nor are there any “trick” questions or hidden meanings to tease out. Instead, I need to know (a) whether you are capable of writing an answer to these questions
