ANNEX “A”(MOA between Host Company/Institution and Student re: Internship)INTERNSHIP PLANI.INTRODUCTIONThe Practicum consists of 150 hours of on-the-job (OJT) training as provided bylocal companies. The program aims to prepare our young men and women tobecome competent managers and consultants with a mindset of management as asystem of integrated and interrelated parts.Throughout the effectivity of Internship Program, the Student-Interns shall beassigned to specific or varied areas and venues under the supervision of the HostCompany/Institution. The Student-Interns shall be given actual work experience inthe Host Company/Institution’s operations and functions related to the differentfunctional areas of business (such as, but not limited to accounting, management,marketing, finance) or research-related according to these disciplines. II.GOALS/OBJECTIVESThe objective of the practicum is to provide the student-trainees exposure andexperience in an actual business organization to enable them to relate and applythe theories they learned in the classroom. The exposure to the different work situations is provided to enable the studentintern experience and observe the practical application of theories learned in theschool.At the end of the internship program, the Student-Intern should be able to:1.Identify key positions in the industry and related operations to theircorresponding tasks and responsibilities;2.Define the standard operational procedure in each of the departmentassigned;3.Identify and operate the equipment, facilities, and lay-out designed ineach of the department assigned;4.Perform required skills and techniques necessary in the execution ofoperational procedures of the assigned tasks in accordance with existing
