The Basics- Reproductive Freedom: The access to contraceptives, The right to choose whether to carry out a pregnancy to term, the right to voluntary sterilization,- is a relatively modern right whose contours continue to be shaped primarily by the courts, rather than by the state legislatures. It has been over 2 decades of ongoing debates and their is a continuous issue on whether women should be allowed to have Reproductive Freedom. This Women’s Reproductive RIghts issue has been through the federal courts and now has already been taken up to the U.S. Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has shaped the way we value reproductive rights by having limitations and a time limit to that specific freedom. Research suggests that being able to make decisions about one’s own reproductive life and the timing of one’s entry into parenthood is associated with greater relationship stability and satisfaction (
