Cardiovascular Diseases Based on the signs and symptoms of Mrs. J, she requires an immediate intervention which will enable clear her airway. Based on my own opinion, she should be subjected to ABC which is airway, breathing and circulation. Spo2 normal percentage of a patient is 90% but in this case study Mrs J Spo2 of 82% which is therefore lower than the expected value. The interpretation of this is that The patient has a low concentration of oxygen in her body. It is important to consider all her vitals and also all the signs and symptoms for effective treatment. The first intervention would be application of nasal cannula in order to ensure there is enough oxygen concentration in Mrs. J’s body and also proper positioning of her head to ensure she is comfortable while treatment is ongoing (Christensen, 2016). The first treatment to be offered to the patient would be IV furosemide and later the other drugs would follow as prescribed by the health care provider. 1. IV furosemide (Lasix): it is used to remove excessive fluids in the body. Mrs. J require Lasix diuretic since she is having a peripheral pulse, visible jugular veins, breathing problems and also lung crackles. It is important to monitor Mrs. J’s kidney during the treatment period to ensure there are no arising kidney issues. 2. Enalapril (vasotec): used to solve congestive heart failure and hypertension health issues in the body. Diuretic such as Lasix is also used to solve the conditions. Vasotec
