DISCUSSION 2 Discussion Among the universal value that resonates with me, the most are the De George's principles. They are seven in total and are as listed below. (i). Multinationals should not harm. (ii). Multinationals should produce more good than bad for the host country. (iii). Multinationals should contribute by their activities, to the development of the host country. (iv). Multinationals should respect the rights of their employees. (v). Multinationals should pay their fair share of taxes (vi). To the extent that the local culture does not violate moral norms, multinationals should respect these norms. (vii). Multinationals should cooperate with the local governments in the development of background institutions (Wicks, Freeman, Werhane, & Martin, 2017). Drawing from Kouzes and Posner truths, the two that resonate with me the most are; (i).
