When planning to go to college did you ever think to yourself “I will definitely encounter a situation that I will need more time to finish a class?” No, of course not. Well, here is the information that you may need for a course extension, even if you never use it.First, in order to file for an extension you have to know the policies involved. The lengthof the extension is 8 weeks and, in rare circumstances, you can have up to two extensions not exceeding 16 weeks past the original first day of the class. The first extension is submitted to theOffice of the Registrar via the course mentor and pay the fee for the extension. Only military members deploying during the course are exempt from the fees.
