To:Sudeep Mandipalli From:Parker Evans Section:507 Date: 3/5/2019 Re: Lab 5 Report Purpose:The purpose of this lab is to become more familiar with the Bosch Trainer and to learn how to create and gain measurements from regeneration circuits and learning how they interact when set up to synchronize either in series or in parallel. Procedure:First, we created a regeneration circuit. This required setting up a circuit that contained a motor, 4/2 DCV, two pressure gauges,and a double acting cylinder with the exit hose connecting back into the entry side of the piston. Results:Results are listed below. Conclusions/Recommendations: Regeneration circuits help to increase the overall speed of extension/retraction by taking the flow out and adding it to the flow in. Parallel circuits are useful when you have applications where cylinders need to be extended/retracted together and at the same speed. On the other hand, series circuits have varying speeds.
