HUMAN SEXUALITY EDUCATOR 2

HUMAN SEXUALITY EDUCATOR 3 Part I Here are my findings on careers I can obtain as a sexuality educator with a Bachelors, Masters, PhD and a Doctorate Degree. What I can do with my Bachelor’s Degree The first place I visited was the American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists at . This site has its own certification process for sexuality educators, therapists and counselors. According to them I could become a sexuality educator or a sexuality counselor with a bachelor’s degree provided I also have obtained 2 years of clinical experience and 1000 hours in professional sexuality counseling with in a 2-5-year period. After searching I found out that I could be a Community Outreach Educator or a Health Educator with Planned Parenthood. Both positions involve educating the community and providing counsel as well as facilitating a teen centered counsel. Behavior Interventionist - Tutor – Therapist is another option I found on Indeed.com, this one was out of California with the Abrite Organization and it specifically involves working with 12 months to 18-year-old patients who are in need of some sort of behavior intervention. Another option is becoming a Sex Blogger or working within the Pleasure Products Professional Industry. There aren’t a lot of actual counseling options out there for someone who just a bachelor’s degree, but there are options that will help communities. Basically, you can get a job almost anywhere with just a BA/BS, but not directly as a human sexuality educator.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
